In South Korea: As either BJ or Silla, eliminate each other In Manchuria: Play Goguryeo in the style of the Western Roman Empire - stabilise and consolidate your internal/external threats in time to face a mainland China invasion.Īlternatively play a nomadic tribe and start a copycat mongol empire 500 years ahead of its time. Crush the Tang rebellion, or fight your way to the capital as Tang to usher a new dynasty I would specifically pick the end times for the samhan: Na if they ever touch koreans it should be a focused mini campaign FOTS or Napoleon style, with each faction having an appropriate "short campaign objective" thats more historically correct rather than playing as Wako pirates and needing 60 provinces in mainland china to win. They have said they want to expand the map, and so it's likely to me at least that the Northern Tribes, Koreans, and maybe even a re looked at Qiang and Vietnamese will be added(though for the Vietnamese, I do think I could easily see them just having a few Viet/Nanyue units for Shi Xie). CA said in the latest dev diary that they are listening to fan feedback, and CA doesn't have potatos in their ears so they can probably hear a lot of the people saying they want cultural and unit diversity, something that was just aided a lot in this update. I would have loved to see a unique Yue roster but the reality is Yan Baihu, who is really the only known Yue character around, was indeed a leader of both the Shanyue and local Han people. And honestly, with regards to Shanyue, as much as I hate to say it what CA has done really is probably fairly historically grounded. Think we missed one?
